Job Details:

* Weekend shifts scheduled Friday through Sunday or Saturday through Monday
* On-call required - typically one weekday call per week and one weekend every 5 to 6 weeks
* Floating required within facility and scope of practice, including to Main OR as needed
* Minimum 2 years of CVOR experience required; first-time travelers accepted
* Patient ratio of 1:1 during day shifts
* Patients served include adults and geriatric populations
* Epic charting system experience required
* Community hospital experience preferred
* Trauma Level I and Level II experience preferred
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
* Required skills include: Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG), Scrub Cardiovascular Surgery, Scrub Thoracic Surgery, Scrub Vascular Surgery, TAVR, VATS, IABP, LVAD/RVAD, MAZE Procedure, Mitral Valve Replacement, Carotid Endarterectomy, and additional cardiovascular and thoracic procedures
* Interdisciplinary support available including Respiratory Services and Interpretation Services
* No self-scheduling; block schedules not honored
* Travel pairs are not accepted on this unit
* Travelers are expected to work major holidays that fall within their assignment period per holiday coverage policy
* GA or Compact nursing license required at time of submission
