Job Details:

* 4x10-hour day shifts, 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with on-call requirements
* Guaranteed 36 hours per week
* Daily caseload of 8-10 cases per tech
* On-call required: 2-3 weekday nights from 7:00 PM to 6:30 AM (second call), with approximately one weekend every 4-5 weeks starting Friday at 7:00 PM through Monday at 6:30 AM
* First and second call rotates every 12 hours during weekend call; 2-hour callback minimum
* Weekend requirement is call only
* Minimum 2 years RN experience required; minimum 1 year Cath Lab experience with competency in all aspects including Diagnostic, Intervention, and Structural
* First-time travelers not accepted; experience required
* Travel experience required
* Must be competent as a circulator in the lab, including moderate sedation, patient assessment, medications, pre and post op, and call
* May float within scope to meet facility needs, but will primarily remain in Cath Lab
* Active WV or Compact License required to start assignment; pending license accepted for submission
* Must have a permanent address 100 miles or more from the facility; candidates between 75-99 miles may be considered on a case-by-case basis
* Charting system: Cerner
* Scrubs provided by facility
* Free parking available for travelers
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS (American Heart Association)
* Previous charge experience preferred
* Minimum 2 manager and/or charge nurse references from the past 2 years required
* No pre-approved time off restrictions

This facility is a short-term acute care hospital and Level IV Trauma Center, as well as a major teaching hospital and member of the Council of Teaching Hospitals and Health Systems (COTH). With 838 total staffed beds, this large hospital provides a wide range of specialized medical services and is committed to advancing healthcare through education and research. The facility utilizes Cerner for charting and supports a collaborative, high-acuity environment for clinical staff.
