Opportunity:

Job Details:

* Work 3x12-hour night shifts per week
* Every other weekend coverage required
* No call or float requirements
* Patient ratio of 3:1 across days, nights, and weekends
* Minimum 3 years of nursing experience required
* Travel experience required
* Previous charge experience preferred
* Community hospital experience preferred
* Proficiency in Epic charting system required
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC
* Care for patients across all age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
* Manage a wide range of emergency conditions including abdominal pain, asthma, CVA, head injury, seizures, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, and multisystem organ dysfunction
* Perform skills including arterial line management, BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, care of ventilated patients, central line care, continuous IV sedation, IV vasopressors, procedural sedation administration and monitoring, phlebotomy, triage, and starting and maintaining IVs
* Interdisciplinary support available including respiratory services, interpretation services, radiology, rapid response teams, and pharmacy

This healthcare facility operates a well-equipped emergency department with 14 beds and rooms, serving a daily census of approximately 34 patients with around 32 visits per day.
